We are situated in an area which is rich in history but also provides many chances for relaxation, peace and serenity. It is the ideal destination for anyone who wants to relax and recuperate from the daily grind of work and is also a point of departure for trips into the countryside or for visits to the cities of art which are the envy of the world...
Surrounded by the greenery of centuries old chestnut trees, between mountains and waterfalls flowing rapidly over sheer drops, we are only 10 km from the thermal springs of Bagni di Lucca and only 25 km from the ski slopes of Abetone and Doganaccia, near the naturalistic oasis of the Orrido di Botri, the Grotte del Vento and the Antro del Corchia, and near the Apuan park, and the Tuscan cities of art (Lucca, Florence, Pisa, Pistoia, Siena) which are only 60 km away.

The apartments and the rooms can accommodate up to 15 people and consist of different rural buildings, renovated internally while respecting their original style and located in the high part of the village, from where you can enjoy an enchanting view of the swimming pool, of some of the villages of the Val di Lima and of the waterfall of the same name.
The village of Casoli is a mountain village and its medieval structure is preserved intact. For this reason it can only be visited on foot travelling along the old medieval street which connects the low part of the village to the ruins of the old castle.

The rooms are 100 m from the car park. At the foot of the village private parking is available and there is an electric car from the farm guesthouse to transport luggage.

Village and houses are not suitable for disable or people with severe motor handicap (it unusable for wheelchair users).

Apartment Le Casine (The little houses) 90 m² sleeping 4+2 people On the ground floor there is a kitchen and a spacious dining room with a large picture window which looks out onto the whole valley. On the first and second floor there are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. There is a laundry room in this apartment equipped with washing machine and dryer.
The two double bedrooms, Camera delle Rondini (Room of the Swallows)and Camera del Codirosso (Room of the Redstart) can be rented separately.
 
Apartment La Torretta (The Turret) 80 m² sleeping 3 people On the ground floor there is a living room with a kitchenette and a small fireplace. On the first floor there is a single room and a bathroom with shower and on the second floor there are two double rooms.
 
Apartment Il Castello (The Castle) 80 m² sleeping 4 people
On the ground floor there is a living room with a kitchenette and a small fireplace. On the first floor there is a bathroom with a shower and two double rooms, one of which has a splendid view of the valley and the swimming pool.
Thanks to a communicating door it is possible to join apartment Il Castello and La Torretta to accommodate a total of 7 people. (apartment La vecchia Quercia [The Old Oak]).

For breakfast you can taste the organic products of the farm. jams, honey and homemade cakes, bruschette, oil, fruit and on request even meats and cheeses produced by local farms.

On request the farm will organise courses about the cycle of the chestnut, about herbs, about local history, alternative energies, sobriety and lifestyle for guests or for schools.

In the property of the farm guesthouse there is also a cave ( called “the bat cave”) which is an old shelter for men and animals, part of which can now be visited with speleological excursions. Outside this is the "leap", a sheer drop into the valley which dominates the landscape, its height inaccessible to man but not to the eagles and the buzzards who nest there.
